ABSTRACT
Stunting is a chronic condition of malnutrition that commonly occurs in children under five, affecting their
growth and development from an early age. Stunting is one of the problems currently being focused on by the Indonesian government. This is a problem that must be resolved immediately. To prevent stunting, community education efforts from the surrounding environment are very important. This encouraged the Jember Collaborative KKN team to participate in this effort, by choosing Kasiyan, Puger District, Jember Regency as the location for observation and intervention. There are various factors that can cause stunting in children under five, including the individual characteristics of children under five and socio-economic aspects. Then the KKN team provided direction for overcoming the stunting problem, such as by demonstrating to village residents, especially mothers, on how to provide complementary breast milk food that is appropriate, economical and easy to obtain. This activity began with designing a Business Model Canvas (BMC) and continued with field processes, including program preparation and implementation of education about MPASI and nutritious food. The main aim is to increase residents' knowledge about stunting and how to prevent it, as well as introduce the right types of complementary foods for breast milk. In this way, it is hoped that the Kasiyan Village community can be more proactive in maintaining the healthy growth of their children. Through this outreach approach, it is hoped that public awareness of stunting will increase, and parents, especially mothers, will have better knowledge about healthy eating patterns for their children.
